In these uncertain times, self-employment—whether as a main occupation or a side gig—can offer you agency and control over your situation. As a foreign student, you can request to have permission to be self-employed be added to your student visa, or even receive it automatically!

If you’re registered as “unemployed” you may be eligible for additional government support through the Gründungszuschuss and your costs for coaching may be covered 100%!
Even if you aren’t eligible for the Gründungszuschuss, you may still qualify for a government subsidy to cover 50% of your personal coaching.
